Filipino soldier's letter while en route to Sulu goes viral

As the Philippines continues its war in the south, more military forces are being sent to Jolo to augment the government's forces tracking down Abu Sayyaf fighters operating in the vast lands and waters of Sulu.

The move aims to eliminate the terrorist group Abu Sayyaf's reign in the area. Local media media reported that at least 5 battalion comprised by about 7,500 soldiers from the Philippine Army are now operating in Sulu to track down the terrorists.

In a Facebook post, Innovator Battalion Executive Officer Major Dumalagan wrote a heart-wrenching letter that broke the heart of everyone who read it. 

 Jolo, Sulu here we come, 

This is our chance, many are willing but few are chosen to participate the war against terrorism. Many have already done their part but never have a proud story to tell. 

We maybe coming home flag on top of our metal casket, rest assured we already crushed the enemy and send them all to hell before we give ours. 

Blood may poured on the war thirsty yet a promised land that is what we pledge to do to let our beloved flag fly freely for you. 

God will never say yes or no, Prayer is He wants from you that His soldiers will be as good and safe us you, watching the show that the world will always do, soldiers in thirst for PEACE so they may live a life they always made for you.

The additional force is seen to augment the government's forces in area, which has now killed at least 22 Abu Sayyaf fighters, including an influential commander, in a firefight during which soldiers said the militants appeared to be on drugs.

 Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has recently issued a 'wipe-out' order against the terror group, following the beheading of a hostage last week.

The terrorist group, which has the support of the US military logistics, has eluded Philippines security forces for years. They are responsible for the worst terrorist attacks in the country including the bombing for a passenger ship in 2004 that killed at least 100 civilians and injured thousands.
