Filipino World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fans decided to call the country's most powerful man, President Duterte!!
After being introduced into the ring, Canadian wrestler superstar Chris Jericho immediately threw slurs at the Philippines calling it 'stinky.' A Facebook video by Jaemark Tordecilla caught the entire spectacle on cam.
I haven't been to the Philippines for eight years and I hope I don't have to come back for another eight years because the Philippines stinks.Stunned Filipino fans immediately responded by chanting Du-ter-te!
Jericho, who is known for his vile attitude, is in Manila for the WWE showdown being held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
"The Philippines stinks man, and Manila is the anus," he added.The unprovoked slurs elicited deafening 'Duterte' chants from the Filipino fans present in the MOA arena.
Other fans also threw 'gago' remarks towards the wrestler, which he obligingly picked up.
"What did you say, I'm gago? Well, I guess I'm the biggest gago you've ever seen," Jericho added.Chris Jericho is known to taunt the spectators and tease them by throwing insults. Seems like he gets his power from the cheers that his opponent gets.
